David MacLean is a trilingual Senior Consultant providing strategic communications expertise.

Before joining Earnscliffe, David worked in the regulatory sector developing engagement strategies as well as generating and executing corporate communications plans. Prior to this, David worked in federal politics, the non-profit sector and public transportation administration. 

His previous work included international trade arbitration, national stakeholder consultation, corporate change management, campaign message development and engagement strategy innovation.

David has a Bachelor of Arts from UBC Okanagan with a major in International Relations and a minor in Spanish. He also holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Sciences Po Paris specializing in Management and Public Affairs.

David lives in Vancouver with his wife, Christina. They enjoy camping, hiking, mountain biking and ski touring.
