In the run-up to the PDAC 2022 convention, this panel discussion highlighted the geostrategic context and economic imperatives linking Canada’s critical minerals endowment to the global EV battery value chain, and to meeting Net Zero ambitions. Focus was also given to the importance of reshoring to North America the refining and processing of critical minerals essential to building a durable and resilient battery value chain.
