Carling is an accomplished project and campaign manager with expertise in public policy, government relations, stakeholder engagement, event management and communications. Having spent years driving results on a variety of projects, she has developed an excellent understanding of the operations and culture of non-profits, private and public sector organizations.
Carling uses her experience to build strong working relationships between corporate and government officials, resulting in a better understanding of, and response to clients’ concerns. She has provided government relations, public opinion research and communications advice to clients in a variety of sectors including energy, technology, film & television, transportation, healthcare and solid waste management.
Prior to her career in consulting, Carling worked for two British Columbia Premiers. She also worked on high profile events including hospitality programs at the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Beijing in 2008, Vancouver in 2010 and London in 2012.
In 2020 Carling was recognized as one of Vancouver’s Top 40 Under 40 by Business in Vancouver. She has served on the boards of Canada’s Digital Cluster and the Business Council of British Columbia.
Carling has an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto.
