Etienne Rainville joined Earnscliffe in 2017 and has since supported clients in a range of sectors, including technology, transportation and health. Etienne brings to his work a passion for public policy and a deep understanding of parliamentary process.

Prior to joining Earnscliffe, Etienne served as a political aide in the Office of the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, where he supported several pieces of national security legislation through the parliamentary process. Etienne has also worked for the Department of National Defence and Global Affairs Canada in communications and research roles. Outside of Ottawa, Etienne has provided strategic advice and communications support to political campaigns at the federal and provincial levels.

Born and raised in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Etienne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Alberta. During his undergraduate studies, Etienne completed a work term in Washington D.C. with the United States Department of Defense.  Etienne later obtained a Masters in Political Management from the Clayton H. Riddell Graduate Program in Political Management at Carleton University.
