Emma Macklem brings experience in public affairs, policy research and analysis, operations and outreach, and project management.
As a consultant, Emma provides government relations services to clients with needs in federal, provincial and municipal government jurisdictions. Emma develops and manages strategic plans for execution in a range of sectors, including technology, tourism, environmental protection, healthcare, and urban development.
Emma’s experience in stakeholder relations, strategic communications, and project management is complimented by her understanding of how to navigate complex policy issues at various levels of government.
Prior to joining Earnscliffe, Emma worked with an independent public affairs firm in Vancouver, and before that, with a local tech company and a not-for-profit social service organization. In her personal time, Emma sits on the Board of Directors of the REACH Community Health Centre in East Vancouver, and on the board of a local women’s organization. She is also heavily involved in federal party politics.
Emma has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of British Columbia.
